The Directorate of Child Rights & Trafficking, Government of West Bengal, invites online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Member, Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in Kalimpong and Cooch Behar districts.

- Allowances: Not less than Rs. 2,000/- per sitting, plus travel and other allowances as prescribed.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 31.07.2025)
- Age Limit: Must be above 35 years and not more than 65 years old.
- Essential Qualification & Experience:
- A degree in child psychology, psychiatry, law, social work, sociology, human health, education, human development, or special education for differently-abled children.
- AND
- Has been actively involved in health, education, or welfare activities for children for at least seven years.
- OR
- Is a practicing professional with a degree in one of the fields mentioned above.
- Other Conditions: Candidates must not be associated with any organization receiving foreign contributions or have any conflict of interest with the implementation of the Juvenile Justice Act.
