CMOH Cooch Behar Recruitment 2025: Madhyamik Pass Can Apply for Phlebotomist Post!
The Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH), District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Cooch Behar, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Phlebotomist. The engagement is on a purely temporary/casual basis from August 2025 to November 2025 for the case management of Dengue.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must have:
- Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
- AND EITHER
- Successfully completed a Phlebotomy Technician training course from an organization affiliated/recognized by Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development (PBSSD), NSDC-India, or National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
- OR
- Working experience as a Phlebotomist for at least 1 (one) year in a Govt. Health Care Facility/Laboratory or CE licensed Private Health Care Facility/Diagnostic Centre/Laboratory.
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on 1st January, 2025.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from a total score of 100 marks. The scoring will be calculated as follows:
- 90 Marks: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
- 10 Marks: Awarded for EITHER successfully completing the Phlebotomy Technician training course OR having working experience as a Phlebotomist for at least one year.
Final selection will be conducted by the District Level Selection Committee, Cooch Behar, after verification of documents.

- How to Apply: The application process is in two parts:
- Online Application: Candidates must first apply online through the website www.wbhealth.gov.in under the “Online Recruitment” section.
- Hard Copy Submission: After submitting the online application, candidates must take a printout. This printout, along with self-attested copies of all required documents, must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The envelope must be superscribed “Application for the post of Phlebotomist”.
- Submission Address: Office of the CHOH & Secretary, Dist. Health & Family Welfare Samity, Cooch Behar, Lalbag, Debibari Road, Cooch Behar.
- Documents to be Submitted with Hard Copy:
- Printout of the online application form (with registration number).
- Self-attested photocopy of the Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
- Self-attested photocopies of all Mark Sheets (as per post criteria).
- Self-attested photocopy of Voter card / Aadhar card / other address proof.
- Clear photocopy of experience certificates OR Phlebotomy Technician training course certificate.
