- Pay Scale / Remuneration: During training, a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month (Level-10 starting pay) will be given. On commissioning, pay will be fixed in the rank of Lieutenant (Level-10, Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500).

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of the Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Final year candidates must submit proof of passing by 01 Apr 2026.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: 20 to 27 years as on 01 Apr 2026 (Candidates born between 01 Apr 1999 and 31 Mar 2006, both days inclusive).
- Other Criteria:
- Nationality: A citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or certain persons of Indian origin as specified.
- Marital Status: Unmarried Male candidates.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet minimum physical standards including a 2.4 Km run in 10 minutes 30 seconds, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups, etc.
Selection Process
The selection procedure is as follows:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) will shortlist applications based on a cut-off percentage of marks in the Engineering degree for each stream.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a five-day SSB interview at one of the Selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar). This consists of a two-stage selection process (Stage I & Stage II).
- Medical Examination: Candidates who are recommended after Stage II of the SSB will undergo a medical examination.
- Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared stream-wise based on marks obtained in the SSB interview.
