AIIMS Gorakhpur Recruitment 2025: Walk-in Interview for 50 Senior Resident Posts!
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Senior Resident. A walk-in interview will be conducted to fill 50 vacancies across various departments under the Govt. of India Residency Scheme. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the interview on the specified date.

- Pay Scale / Remunération: Rs. 67,700/- (Level-11, Cell No. 01 as per 7th CPC) plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A post-graduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute. NMC/MCI/State Medical Council Registration is mandatory before joining. For the Trauma & Emergency department, candidates with MD/MS/DNB in Anesthesia/ Emergency Medicine/ General Medicine/ General Surgery/ Orthopedics will be considered.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation is applicable as follows: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), relaxation is 10 years for General, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST category candidates.
- Other Criteria: Candidate must be an Indian National.
Selection Process
Selection will be made on the basis of a walk-in interview. In case a large number of applications are received, a written test may be conducted for shortlisting candidates for the interview. The decision of the Executive Director, AIIMS Gorakhpur, will be final.
