Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate Examination or its equivalent.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: Must be between 18 to 30 years as on 01/07/2025.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates. - Other Criteria:
- Physical Requirements (Men): Height – 163 Cms; Chest – 84 Cms (on full inspiration) with 5 Cms expansion.
- Physical Requirements (Women): Height – 150 Cms; Chest – 79 Cms (on full inspiration) with 5 Cms expansion.
- Height is relaxable for candidates belonging to Gurkhas, Nepalese, Assamese, Scheduled Tribes etc. as per rules.
- Walking Test: Male candidates must complete 25 Kms walking in 4 hours. Female candidates must complete 16 Kms walking in 4 hours.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a Written Examination followed by Physical Tests. The final selection will be based on merit in the written examination for candidates who qualify the physical tests (Walking Test and Medical Examination).
Scheme of Examination:
- Qualifying Test (Essay): 50 Marks (45 mins)
- Paper-I (General Studies & Mental Ability): 100 Marks (100 mins)
- Paper-II (General Science & General Mathematics): 100 Marks (100 mins)
Negative Marking: There will be a penalty of 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question for each wrong answer.
