Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 35 years as on the closing date of application (30/09/2025). Age relaxation for APST candidates up to 5 years is applicable.
- Educational Qualifications (Post-wise):
- Ballistics: B.Sc. with Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Forensic Ballistics.
- Biology/Serology: B.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Genetics/Physical Anthropology OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Forensic Biology.
- Cyber Forensics: Bachelor’s degree with Physics/Computer Science/Mathematics OR BCA OR BE/B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT/EEE OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Cyber/Digital Forensics.
- Finger Print: Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry OR B.Sc. in Forensic Science.
- Forensic Photography: B.Sc. with Diploma in Photography OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Forensic Photography/Crime Scene Management.
- Narcotics: B.Sc. in Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/Pharmacology OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Forensic Chemistry.
- Questioned Documents: B.Sc. with Physics/Chemistry OR B.Sc./M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Questioned Documents.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a single-stage Written Examination.
Scheme of Examination (2 Hours, 200 Marks):

Note: The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. A candidate must secure a minimum of 33% aggregate marks to be eligible for selection. There is no negative marking.
