BPSC Recruitment 2025: 35 Vacancies for Assistant Town Planning Supervisor!
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced a significant recruitment drive (Advt. No. 89/2025) for the post of Assistant Town Planning Supervisor under the Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Town Planning / Regional Planning / Urban Planning / City Planning / Country Planning / Transport Planning / Housing / Environmental Planning from a recognized University or Institution.
- Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age (UR-Male): 37 years
- Maximum Age (BC/EBC – Male & Female, UR-Female): 40 years
- Maximum Age (SC/ST – Male & Female): 42 years
- Age relaxation for Government servants, Divyangjan, and Ex-servicemen is applicable as per Bihar Govt. rules.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice). There will be no negative marking.
Examination Scheme:
- Paper: Town Planning Paper
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Questions: 125
- Total Marks: 125
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test. Document verification will be conducted for successful candidates.
Application Process
- Application Fee: Rs. 100/- for all candidates. Additionally, a Biometric fee of Rs. 200/- will be charged for candidates who do not enter their Aadhaar number in the application.
