Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Mini Ratna company, has released a notification for the engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices for a one-year training program under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed during 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 are eligible.
- Graduate Apprentices: A Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline, granted by a Statutory University or an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology or a Diploma in Commercial Practice in the relevant discipline, granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be above 18 years of age as on 20.09.2025. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD will be as per Government of India directives.
- Other Criteria: Only candidates who are domicile of Kerala shall be considered. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship are not eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Certificate Verification. The final selection will be based on merit, reservation policies, and medical fitness. In case of a tie in marks, seniority in passing year will be considered, followed by age seniority.
