The District Health & Family Welfare Society (DHFWS), Ambala, has announced a recruitment drive for various contractual posts under the National Health Mission (NHM). Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in recruitment drive for positions including Medical Officer, Nurse, Counsellor, and Data Manager.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Medical Officer: MBBS from a recognized institution along with Medical Council registration (preferably MD or equivalent qualification Psychiatry).
- Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing/GNM course from a recognized institution by Government. Registered with Haryana Nurses Registration Council. Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric.
- Counsellor: Graduate in Psychology/Social work/Sociology (Preferably Masters in above discipline). Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric.
- Data Manager: Graduate in any discipline (preferably with qualification/experience in computer Application).
- Experience: Not Required. However, weightage for relevant experience will be given during selection.
- Age Limit:
- Medical Officer: 18-65 years
- Nurse, Counsellor, Data Manager: 18-42 years
Age relaxation is as per Haryana Government norms.
- Other Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates who are bonafide residents of Ambala district.
Selection Process
There will be no written test or computer test for any post. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from a total of 50 marks, distributed as follows:
- Essential Basic Qualification: 30 Marks
- Post Qualification Relevant Work Experience: 10 Marks (2 marks per completed year, up to a maximum of 10)
- Local Area Weightage (for District applicants): 10 Marks
The final selection will be based on document verification and the merit list.
