Post-wise Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility varies for each post. Candidates are advised to carefully check the requirements for the post they are applying for. The cut-off date for eligibility is 16/09/2025.

Statistical Clerk (Post Code: 19/25)

• Education: Degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Economics as a subject.
• Pay Scale: Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200)
• Age Limit: 18-27 years.

Assistant Public Health Inspector (Post Code: 20/25)

• Education: Higher Secondary (10+2) and Sanitary Inspector Diploma.
• Pay Scale: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100)
• Age Limit: 18-27 years.

Mason (Post Code: 21/25)

• Education: Certificate in Mason trade with 1-year experience OR Literate with 5 years experience in the trade.
• Pay Scale: Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – 63,200)
• Age Limit: 20-32 years.

Assistant Superintendent (Post Code: 32/25)

• Education: Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree.
• Physical Standards: Height (Male-165cm, Female-157cm), Chest (Male-81-85cm). Physical Endurance Test applicable.
• Pay Scale: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.

Forest Guard (Post Code: 41/25)

• Education: 12th / Senior Secondary pass.
• Physical Standards: Height (Male-163cm, Female-150cm), Chest (Male-84cm+5cm). Physical test of walking 25km (Male) / 16km (Female) in 4 hours.
• Pay Scale: Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100)
• Age Limit: 18-27 years.

TGT (Special Education Teacher) (Post Code: 42/25)

• Education: Graduation Degree, B.Ed (Special Education) or equivalent, CTET qualified, and RCI registration.
• Pay Scale: Level-7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.

Selection Process

Selection will be made through One Tier or Two Tier Examination schemes depending on the post. The examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).

• Examination Type: Objective Type (MCQ).
• Negative Marking: Yes, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/EWS: 40%, OBC (Delhi): 35%, SC/ST/PwBD: 30%.
• Syllabus (General Posts – One Tier): The exam will have 200 questions for 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. Subjects include:
  1. General Awareness (40 Marks)
  2. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability (40 Marks)
  3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability (40 Marks)
  4. Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension (40 Marks)
  5. Test of English Language & Comprehension (40 Marks)
• Syllabus (Technical Posts – One Tier): The exam will have two sections. Section A (100 Marks) will have general subjects (20 marks each), and Section B (100 Marks) will have MCQs on the subject concerned.

• Application Fee:
  • All Candidates: ₹100/- (One Hundred only)
  • Exempted Categories: Women, SC, ST, PwBD & Ex-Serviceman candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
• How to Apply: Candidates must apply online through the DSSSB online portal.
  1. Go to the official DSSSB application portal: https://dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. If not already registered, complete the one-time registration process.
  3. Log in with your credentials and select the advertisement.
  4. Fill in the application form for the desired post, upload required documents, and pay the fee online via SBI e-pay.
  5. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
