Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Class VIII (8th) standard. Candidates who have passed HSSLC (12th) or above are ineligible.
• Experience: Not Required
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 32 years. ST: 5 years relaxation (up to 37 years). Government Employees: Relaxation equal to years of service (up to 5 years). Age limit is determined as on the last date of application submission.
• Other Criteria: Must be an indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland belonging to the following tribes: Any Naga Tribes, Kuki, Kachari, Garo, Mikir.

Selection Process

Stage I: Written Examination (50 marks) – Objective type multiple choice questions on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General English, and General Mathematics of Class VIII standard. Stage II: Interview/Viva-Voce (20 marks). Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies will be called for the interview. A minimum of 60% (12 out of 20) is required to qualify the interview. Final selection is based on the total marks from both stages. In case of a tie, preference is given based on written exam marks, then age.
