The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Health Medical and Family Welfare Department, Guntur District, has announced a recruitment drive for various paramedical positions. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up 6 vacancies at the NATCO Cancer Care Centre and Government General Hospital, Guntur on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Radiation Safety Officer/Medical Physicist: Must possess a basic degree in Science with Physics, a Post Graduate degree in Physics/Radiological/Medical Physics, an internship of minimum 12 months, and a Certificate from BARC / Approval from the competent authority to function as RSO.
- Nuclear Medicine Technician: Must possess first class in M.Sc Degree in Physics / Nuclear Physics and a 1-year Post Graduate training course Certificate in Hospital Physics and Radiological Physics in BARC.
- Physicist / Nuclear Physicist: Must possess first class in MSc Degree in Physics / Nuclear Physics from a recognized university and should produce certificate issued by the BARC.
- Radiological Physicist: Must have passed Masters Degree in Physics or Nuclear Physics in 1st Class and passed one year P.G. Training Course in Hospital Physics and Radiological Physics from Bhabha Atomic Research Center.
- Experience: An internship of 12 months or a 1-year training course is required for certain posts as specified above.
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is 42 years as on the date of notification.
Age Relaxation:- SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates: 05 years
- Ex-service Men: 03 years in addition to the length of service
- Differently abled persons: 10 years
- The maximum age limit is 52 years with all relaxation put together.
- Other Criteria: The district jurisdiction for this recruitment is erstwhile Guntur district only.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a merit list prepared out of 100 marks. The distribution of marks is as follows:
- 75% marks: Allocated for the aggregate of marks obtained in all the years in the qualifying examination.
- Up to 10 marks: Awarded for the waiting period after acquiring the requisite qualification (@ 1.0 mark per completed year).
- Up to 15% marks: Weightage will be given to candidates working on Contract/Outsourcing/Honorarium basis, including COVID-19 service, based on their service and work area (Tribal, Rural, Urban).
There is no written examination or interview. Selection is based purely on academic merit and experience weightage.
