Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in first division in Civil / Chemical / Environmental Engineering.
  • Hindi / Sanskrit up to Matric or Higher Standard.
• Experience: Not Required.
• Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025):
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 42 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Haryana Government norms (SC/BC: 5 years, PwBD: 5 years, etc.). The maximum age limit for any applicant shall not exceed 52 years.

Selection Process

Generally, the selection process consists of three stages:

1. Screening Test
2. Subject Knowledge Test
3. Interview

Note: In case of a large number of applications, the Commission may adopt a shortlisting method based on marks in educational qualifications, higher qualifications, experience, or may directly conduct a Subject Knowledge Test and Interview.

  • Male Candidates (General, Other States): ₹1000/-
  • Female Candidates (All Categories), Male Candidates of SC/BC-A/BC-B/ESM/EWS of Haryana: ₹250/-
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) of Haryana (with at least 40% disability): NIL
• How to Apply:
  1. Visit the official HPSC website: http://hpsc.gov.in.
  2. Register online using your Mobile Number and Aadhar Number. A Login ID will be created.
  3. Log in and fill out the online application form with all required details.
  4. Make the payment of the requisite application fee online.
  5. Crucial Step: After payment, you must take a printout of the application form.
  6. Check the printout carefully, sign it, and then upload the scanned copy of this signed application form to complete the process. Failure to upload the signed form will lead to automatic rejection of the application.
