  • Upon completion of four years, a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of approximately Rs. 10.04 Lakhs will be given.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation / equivalent examination from an Education Board recognised by Central, State, or UT.
• Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
• Age Limit: Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply. The upper age limit on the date of enrolment must be 21 years.
• Physical and Medical Standards:
  • Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
  • Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
  • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
  • Visual Standards: Vision should be 6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9 in each eye. Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable.
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
  • Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of four phases:

1. Phase-I (Written Test): A common written test for both streams with a total of 20 marks (General English – 10 marks, General Knowledge – 10 marks). A minimum aggregate score of 10 is required to pass.
2. Phase-II (Physical Fitness Test – PFT): This is qualifying in nature.
   • PFT-1: 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds.
   • PFT-2: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats within the stipulated time after a break.
3. Phase-III (Stream Suitability Test – SST): This test is qualifying in nature. Candidates must demonstrate aptitude for the applied stream (Hospitality/Housekeeping) and score a minimum of 50% aggregate (15 marks).
4. Phase-IV (Medical Examination): Candidates who qualify in the SST will undergo a medical examination as per IAF medical standards.
