Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Three (3) years full-time regular Diploma in the following engineering disciplines from a recognized institute with a minimum of 65% marks for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
    • Chemical: Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Chemical Technology (Fertiliser), Petrochemical Engineering, Petrochemical Technology, Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering.
    • Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering.
    • Electrical: Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Electrical Power System, Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control).
    • Instrumentation: Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation.
  • Experience: Not Required.
  • Age Limit: The upper age limit as of 01st July 2025 is as follows:
    • General/EWS: 26 years
    • OBC (NCL): 29 years
    • SC/ST: 31 years
    • PwBD (General): 36 years
    • PwBD (OBC-NCL): 39 years
    • PwBD (SC/ST): 41 years
  • Other Criteria: Candidates must be of Indian Nationality. Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications like B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA etc., are not eligible.

Selection Process

The selection process will be multi-staged, consisting of a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Group Discussion (GD), Group Task (GT), and a Personal Interview (PI).

Computer Based Test (CBT) Details:

  • Total Questions: 100 (Objective Multiple-Choice)
  • Total Duration: 150 minutes
  • Section A (Domain Knowledge): 50 Questions
  • Section B (General Aptitude – Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English): 50 Questions
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Final Merit List Weightage:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT): 85%
  • Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT): 5%
  • Personal Interview (PI): 10%
