JIPMER Recruitment 2025: Walk-in-Interview for Project Nurse Posts!
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, has invited applications from eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview for the post of Project Nurse-II. The positions are on a contract basis for an ICMR-funded research project in the Department of P&SM.

- Pay Scale / Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + 18% HRA (Total @Rs. 24,000/-)

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Minimum second-class equivalent or equivalent CGPA three-year General Nursing and Midwife (GNM) course OR B.Sc (Nursing).
- Desirable Qualification & Experience:
- Work experience in clinical research projects after nursing course.
- Able to work in MS-Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Fluency to communicate in Tamil.
- Experience in Health-related field-based data collection.
- Master’s course including MPH.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on the last date of receipt of applications.
- Other Criteria: Fluency in Tamil is mandatory and candidates must be willing to travel.
Selection Process
The recruitment process is a walk-in interview which will include the following stages after evaluation of the application form:
- Written Test: Covering topics like survey methods, interview techniques, health systems, cancer care continuum, community navigation system, qualitative research, palliative care, and steps of research.
- Skill Test: Assessing basic English/Tamil and aptitude.
- Interview: Covering similar topics as the written test.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the written test and/or interview. If the number of applications is large, more stringent criteria may be used for shortlisting.
