MHSRB Telangana Recruitment 2025: Golden Opportunity for Doctors with 1623 Specialist Vacancies!
The Medical Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB), Government of Telangana, has announced a major recruitment drive for qualified medical professionals. Applications are invited online for the posts of Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialists and Medical Officer Specialists in various departments across the state.

- Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist (TVVP): 1615 posts
- Medical Officer Specialist (TGSRTC): 8 posts

- Pay Scale / Remunération: For TVVP posts: Rs. 58,850 – 1,37,050. For TGSRTC posts: Rs. 56,500 – 3,000 – 1,31,000.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma/DNB in the concerned specialty and must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.
- Experience: Not required for application. However, weightage points will be awarded for contract/outsourced service rendered in state government hospitals/institutions.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 46 years of age as of 01/07/2025. Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST/BCs & EWS: 5 Years
- Physically Handicapped persons: 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years & length of service rendered in the armed forces.
- N.C.C. (who have worked as Instructor): 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.
- Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 Years based on the length of regular service (Employees of TSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities etc. are not eligible).
- Other Criteria: Candidates must be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council. Local reservation (95%) is applicable as per state government rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared on a 100-point scale. The breakdown is as follows:
– Maximum 80 points: Awarded for the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying exam (Postgraduate Degree/Diploma/DNB).
– Maximum 20 points: Awarded for service in state government hospitals/institutions on a contract/outsourced basis.
(2.5 points per 6 months for service in tribal areas and 2 points per 6 months for service in other areas).
The final merit list will be prepared based on these combined scores, followed by certificate verification.

- All Applicants: Rs. 500/- (Online Application Fee) + Rs. 200/- (Processing Fee). Total Rs. 700/-
- SC/ST/BC/EWS/PH & Ex-servicemen of Telangana State, & Unemployed applicants (18-46 years) of Telangana: Exempted from Rs. 200/- Processing Fee. They only need to pay the Rs. 500/- Application Fee.
