Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Post Graduate Degree in Library and Information Science from any recognized University.
  • PGDCA from any recognized institution/University.
  • Familiar with Library Autonomous Software.
  • Knowledge of Computer Application.
  • Degree of Law (Desirable).
• Experience: Not Required.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 01.01.2025. Reservation benefits are applicable only for the original residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Other Criteria: Must be a citizen of India.

Selection Process

The selection process will comprise two stages: Online Examination and Interview.
1. Online Examination (150 Marks): This will be an MCQ-based test of 2 hours duration. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The exam pattern is as follows:

• Library & Information Science: 100 Marks
• General English: 25 Marks
• Computer Knowledge: 25 Marks

2. Interview (20 Marks): Candidates qualifying the online exam will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:3 ratio. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined score of the online exam and the interview.
