Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess M.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing along with a regular postgraduate degree or postgraduate diploma in Hospital Management and Administration or Public Health Management from a recognized institution.
• Experience: 10 years of experience on the regular post of Nursing Officer / Senior Nursing Officer / Sister Tutor / Matron / Nursing Superintendent Grade-2 in the nursing service under the Public Health and Medical Education Department.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
  • A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit is provided for SC/ST/OBC/Divyangjan/Government Employees/Women candidates of Madhya Pradesh.
  • The maximum age limit for any category will not exceed 45 years.
• Other Criteria: Candidates who are residents of Madhya Pradesh must have a valid and live registration with the state’s employment office. This must be presented at the time of the interview.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on an interview. However, if the number of applications received is more than 500, a written examination will be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.

• Interview: The interview will be for a total of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying mark for Unreserved category is 41%.

• Written Exam (if conducted): Candidates three times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the interview based on the marks obtained in the written exam. The final selection will then be based on the combined score of the written test and interview.
