Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: A recognized Veterinary qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 i.e. Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc&AH) Degree and registration with the Mizoram State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.
• Experience: Not Required.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years of age as on the last date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC candidates.
• Other Criteria:
  • Computer Proficiency: As prescribed by the Mizoram Group ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
  • Mizo Language Proficiency: A candidate must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency. Candidates who studied Mizo subject in Class-X (HSLC) or above are exempted.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a Direct Recruitment Examination. A Written Examination will be conducted as per the Schedule of Examination for Agriculture & Allied Services. The syllabus for the examination is available for download on the Commission’s official website.
