Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Assistant Public Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Liaison Officer: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Sub-Inspector of Supply: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: (as on 01.01.2025)
- For Assistant Public Prosecutor: 25 to 35 years.
- For Liaison Officer & Sub-Inspector of Supply: 18 to 32 years.
- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. Relaxation for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) is applicable as per government norms (Relaxable by 10 years, and 15 years for STs/SCs). No age bar for regular Government employees who entered service within the prescribed age limit.
- Other Criteria: Candidates must be citizens of India.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of a Screening Test/Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview.
1. For Assistant Public Prosecutor: The examination will have subjective (Paper III) and MCQ pattern papers (Paper I & II). The detailed syllabus is available on the Commission’s website.
2. For Liaison Officer: Screening Test (MCQ pattern) of 300 marks.
- General English: 100 marks
- General Knowledge & Aptitude: 150 marks
- Basic Computer: 50 marks
3. For Sub-Inspector of Supply: Screening Test (MCQ pattern) of 300 marks.
- General English: 70 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning: 70 marks
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs: 60 marks
- Public Distribution Systems & Consumer Acts: 50 marks
- Basic Computer & e-Governance: 50 marks
Candidates who qualify the Screening Test/Written Exam will be called for a Personal Interview.

- General/OBC: Rs. 460/- for Asst. Public Prosecutor & Rs. 320/- for other posts.
- SC/ST/PwD/Female: For SC/ST (permanent residents of Meghalaya): Rs. 230/- for Asst. Public Prosecutor & Rs. 160/- for other posts. PWD candidates are exempted from the fee.
