Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- For Research Associate-I: Ph.D degree in Environmental sciences/Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering.
- For Consultant: Post Graduate degree in Hydrology, Water Resources or a closely related field.
- Experience:
- For Research Associate-I (Desirable): Research experience, published papers in SCI journals, and experience in biological wastewater treatment, pilot reactor operation, etc.
- For Consultant (Essential): 03 years of relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of publishing technical reports and research papers. Proven record of working in the domain of climate change.
- Age Limit:
- Research Associate-I: Maximum 35 years as on the date of interview.
- Consultant: Maximum 45 years as on the date of interview.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates is applicable as per Govt. of India rules.
- Other Criteria: Candidates for the Consultant post should possess strong technical competencies including understanding of climate change, geospatial data handling, and proficiency in MS Office. Excellent communication and technical writing skills are also required.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be made through a Walk-in-Interview. Candidates are required to report at the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee, one hour before the interview time. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
