Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer: Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with at least 60% marks. Record of representing University/College at Inter-University/State/National level and qualified in the national-level test (UGC).
  • Superintendent: First Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent OR Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Technical Assistant (Dept. of Physics): First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science OR Master’s Degree in Science with at least 50% marks.
  • Technician (Dept. of Civil Engg.): Senior secondary (10+2) with Science with at least 60% marks OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher OR Secondary (10th) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering of three years’ duration.
  • Technician (Dept. of Chemical & Biological Science): Senior secondary (10+2) with Science with at least 60% marks OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher OR Secondary (10th) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Chemical Engineering OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering of three years’ duration.
• Experience: Not required as an essential criterion. Desirable experience is mentioned for the SAS Officer post.
• Age Limit:
  • Students Activity & Sports (SAS) Officer: 35 years
  • Superintendent: 30 years
  • Technical Assistant: 30 years
  • Technician (Civil & Chemical): 27 years

  Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Government of India norms.

• Other Criteria: Candidates must be Indian Nationals.

Selection Process

The selection process may consist of a Written Test, Skill Test, and/or Interview. The Institute reserves the right to fix the criteria for shortlisting candidates and decide the final mode of selection. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through the institute’s website or e-mail.
