• Post Name: Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales)
• Total Vacancies: A large number of vacancies have been announced. The vacancies are distributed state-wise and category-wise (Regular and Backlog). Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for the detailed breakdown.
• Pay Scale / Remuneration: The pay scale is Rs.24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480. The starting Basic Pay is Rs. 26,730/- (Rs.24050/- plus two advance increments for graduates). Total starting emoluments in a metro city like Mumbai will be around Rs. 46,000/- per month.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification (as on 31.12.2025):
  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
  • Candidates in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally, but they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2025.
  • Matriculate Ex-servicemen with 15 years of service in the Armed Forces are also eligible.
• Age Limit (as on 01.04.2025):
  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1997 and not later than 01.04.2005 (both days inclusive).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD (General/EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Actual period of service + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen from SC/ST), subject to a maximum age of 50 years.
  • Widows, Divorced women & women judicially separated (not remarried): 7 years (subject to max age of 35 for Gen/EWS, 38 for OBC, and 40 for SC/ST).
  • Trained Apprentices of SBI: Relaxation is applicable as per bank norms.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of an online test (Preliminary and Main exam) and a test of specified opted local language.

1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (100 Marks)
   This is an online objective test of 1-hour duration. There will be negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.
   • English Language: 30 Questions, 30 Marks, 20 Minutes
   • Numerical Ability: 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes
   • Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes
2. Phase-II: Main Examination (200 Marks)
   This is an online objective test of 2 hours 40 minutes duration. Marks obtained in the Main Exam will be considered for the final merit list. There will be negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer.
   • General/Financial Awareness: 50 Questions, 50 Marks, 35 Minutes
   • General English: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 35 Minutes
   • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions, 50 Marks, 45 Minutes
   • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 50 Questions, 60 Marks, 45 Minutes
3. Phase-III: Test of Specified Opted Local Language
   Candidates who qualify for selection but have not studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard will have to appear for a language proficiency test. This test is qualifying in nature.

Note: Trained apprentices of SBI will be given a weightage of 2.5% of maximum marks (i.e., 5 marks out of 200) as bonus marks in the Main Examination.

  3. Register by providing basic information to generate a registration number and password.
  4. Fill the application form carefully and upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration.
  5. Pay the application fee online.
  6. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

  “I, ________ (Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______ hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”.
