Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Essential: A recognized Dental qualification included in Part-I & III of the Schedule of the Dentist Act, 1948, as appended to this schedule. Preferable: (i) Recognized post-graduate degree as appended to this schedule. (ii) Working knowledge of Bengali/Kokborok.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: Upto 40 years as on 10.10.2025. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government Servant. Government employees belonging to ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the General relaxation of 5 years available to them.
- Other Criteria: To apply for the post, the applicant must have Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of two stages:
1. Written Examination: 85 marks
2. Interview/ Viva Process: 15 marks
The final selection will be made based on the merit of the total marks obtained in both stages. The Written Examination will have Part A (General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 8.5 marks) and Part B (Basic Sciences and Dental Specialty subjects – 76.5 marks).
