TPSC Professor Recruitment 2025: 18 Vacancies for Super Specialty Disciplines in Tripura!
The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for the permanent position of Professor in various super specialty disciplines. A total of 18 vacancies are available at A.G.M.C. & G.B. Pant Hospital, Agartala. - Pay Scale / Remunération: Academic level: 14 of UGC, Entry Pay Rs 1,44,200/- with a proposal of 03 additional increments, i.e., with Entry Pay Rs. 1,57,600/-.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: A Post–doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB equated to DM/M.Ch in the concerned subject as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 of NMC.
- Experience:
- Associate Professor for three years in the concerned subject from a permitted/recognized medical college/institution.
- Special training for three years in the respective Super Specialty subject in a teaching Institution/Centre of Excellence.
- At least four Research publications (at least two as Associate Professor).
- Completed the NMC recognized basic course in Medical Education Technology.
- Completed the basic course in Biomedical Research from Institutions designated by NMC.
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is 50 years as on 15.09.2025. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/PH/PWD and Government servants. However, SC/ST/Govt. servants will not get further relaxation over and above the 5 years they are already entitled to.
- Other Criteria: Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is required. Desirable: Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the Academic Performance Index (API) and an Interview. The total marks are 100, with the following distribution:
- API Score: 90 Marks (based on MBBS, PG Degree, Super Specialist Degree, Publications, Fellowship, Gold Medal, and Service Experience)
- Interview: 10 Marks
