West Central Railway Recruitment 2025: Bumper 2865 Apprentice Vacancies Announced!
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), West Central Railway (WCR), has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of 2865 Act Apprentices for the year 2025-2026. This is a massive opportunity for candidates with 10th class and ITI qualifications to get training in various designated trades at different Divisions/Workshops of WCR.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. Additionally, they must possess the National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Experience: Not Required.
- Age Limit: The candidate should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 20/08/2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 05 years
- OBC candidates: 03 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBDs): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC).
- Ex-servicemen: Up to an additional 10 years.

Selection Process
There will be no written test or interview. The selection will be done on the basis of a merit list prepared for all eligible candidates who apply. The merit list will be prepared based on the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination (or its equivalent) and the ITI/Trade marks. In case of a tie, the candidate with the older age will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier will be considered first. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
